SOMM SPOTLIGHT: AUTUMN WINES
TRIMBACH PINOT BLANC
Perfect for a warm Autumn day in SoCal… This wine has long been a staff favorite since 13th Generation Winemaker Anne Trimbach (winery est. 1626!) came for a wine dinner two years ago.
MAISON CHAMPY PINOT NOIR
Pinot Noir is like the fall: fruit has ripened, leaves are changing color, and the earth is turned over. You MUST try this wine with our Duck Taco or Duck Old Fashioned entrée… perfection.
ROUND POND “KITH & KIN” CAB
Napa Valley, CA
Old English for “Friends and Family,” Kith & Kin is a classic Rutherford-style Cabernet with firm tannins, purple violets on the nose, and a long finish. French oak aging brings perfect autumn spice into the equation.
ABSTRACT BY ORIN SWIFT
Red Blend, CA
Wow… Grenache for backbone and acidity, Petite Sirah for tannin and structure, Syrah for ripe black and blue fruit… this is another gem from David Swift Finney (father’s middle name – Orin and mother’s maiden name – Swift).
“Wine makes every meal an occasion, every table more elegant, every day more civilized.”
We have taken great care to curate a wine list that features a variety of growing regions, grapes, and styles of wine making. We have also aimed to step outside of that which is overly familiar to offer our guests something new and different to explore.
