SOMM SPOTLIGHT: WINTER WINES
GOTHAM PROJECT MUSCADET
A dry, refreshing white from the northern part of France, Muscadet (NOT Moscato… this is 100% Melon de Bourgogne, a totally different grape varietal). Muscadet is a classic pairing with Muscles… which we just so happen to have.
HESS “ALLOMI” CHARDONAY
Napa Valley, California
Winter is about the only time of year I drink oaky chardonnay, and this one lands just right. Ripe green apples, slight honeysuckle aromas, and enough acidity to hold up to the extended stay in Oak barrels. A real value.
ABSTRACT BY ORIN SWIFT
Red Blend, California
This was such a hit on our fall menu, we left it here for another quarter of enjoyment! Grenache for backbone and acidity, Petite Sirah for tannin and structure, Syrah for ripe black and blue fruit.
OPOLO PETITE SIRAH
Paso Robles, California
This is a staff favorite! This wine was built for the hibernating months… big, chewy, robust red and black fruits that warm the soul. If you haven’t tried 100% petite sirah you are missing out!
“Wine makes every meal an occasion, every table more elegant, every day more civilized.”
We have taken great care to curate a wine list that features a variety of growing regions, grapes, and styles of wine making. We have also aimed to step outside of that which is overly familiar to offer our guests something new and different to explore.
